Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom work. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. Following her conversion to Judaism and they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to return to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social media.
