Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up close to Tallahassee near Tallahassee in Florida. She was born in Miami Beach on September 21 in 1964. She was the child of Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She went to West Virginia University, Florida State University and then graduated from the University of Central Florida. It wasn't until she moved to Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and began studying comedy at the Groundlings Theater that she truly felt like she was taught about humor. Lisa Kudrow, her first instructor at the Groundlings Theater was an amazing instructor. She was taught how to perform improv and make comedy sketches. This experience helped prepare her for the part of Larry David's wife in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue on the situation comedy is made up, which means she is at ease.
